engaged

The weekend of April 8th, Eric and I went to Seaside, OR to celebrate our birthdays. On Saturday morning we decided to take a walk down the boardwalk and out on the beach. We get outside and its raining, but not anything an umbrella couldnt keep out, so we walked. We got all the way down to the end of the boardwalk and then decided to take our chances and head out on the beach closer to the water. As we make our way to the water, the wind gets worse and the rain gets heavier and we cant use the umbrella anymore because the hurricane we just walked into will break it. So here we are, standing by the ocean in the pouring rain, I have a coat with a hood and he just has his fleece and hat, we are soaking wet like we've just jumped into a pool and he gets down on one knee and proposes right there. The worse weather imaginable but the best question ever asked! I said "of course," so now its official! Were engaged!!!
