So Eric and I decided to buy a new bed and we've had our eye on one we saw in Skymall (yes, the magazine on airplanes) and so we finally ordered it online at Skymall.com. A few weeks after we placed our order the status still said "processing" so we called them several times to find out what was wrong. Every time we called the customer service people would say that they can only send an inquiry email to the verification department and then that department would contact us. Well, we never received a call or an email or any sort of attempt to get in touch with us.
Finally I called again last week and asked what exactly we needed to do to pay them and have our bed delivered. I got the runaround again about them needing to email someone...so I just decided to cancel the order all together.
It turns out that canceling that order was the best decision ever because I found the exact same bed on another site that offered free shipping and no tax, so it actually ended up costing us about $200 less than what we were going to pay at Skymall, and the bed was delivered about a day later. SimplyPlatformbeds.com is the place to be!
p.s. don't ever order anything from Skymall no matter how bored you get on a flight.

Thanks for the advice! My sister was thinking about ordering a litter box for her cat from Skymall. I'll be sure to tell her it's a bad idea!
