st. patrick's weekend and broomstick pool

Last weekend Eric, Kyle, Adam Lust and I headed off to Pomeroy, WA for the annual Broomstick Pool Tournament. It's held at the Up & Up bar and always promises some fun and a little small town drama.

Eric and his Dad (Matt) are on a team, Kyle is on a team with Matt's dad (Sam) and Adam was on a team with one of their good college friends Joe Wahlder. To make a long story short...none of them won, but everyone had a great time!

The part I like most about this annual event is seeing family and visiting with people you haven't seen since the last Broomstick. The entire town of Pomeroy comes out for this and it was actually the 25th anniversary of Broomstick! A couple of oldtimers were honored and a few people were upset that other's weren't (small town drama).
