Went out to dinner on Saturday night to celebrate with friends. (Thanks everyone for such a fun night!)
Eric said he had something special planned for Monday evening, but then he realized the NCAA men's basketball championship game happened to be on Monday too so he asked if we could stay home and watch the game and do birthday plans on Tuesday. And because I'm such a good wife I said "sure, no problem".
On Monday afternoon I get a call from the front desk at work saying that there is something for me to come pick up...it wasn't flowers, it was an edible arrangement, fruit kabobs arranged like a bouquet of flowers! (pictured here, but as you can see I had already eaten a lot of the fruit). And we spent Monday night at home and watched the game (and I opened presents and cards!!).
On Tuesday Eric took me to a really fancy dinner at the Salish Lodge at the Snoqualmie Falls! The falls were amazing and dinner was fantastic. The menu is super fancy and we didn't really have any idea what we were ordering, so I ordered what I thought was a standard fillet mignon, but I guess what I had really ordered was 2 mutant scrimps fighting over a tiny piece of meat (pictured below).

Yes, I did eat it and both bites tasted amazing! haha :)
The picture of your dinner plate is hilarious! I don't know what I would have done if I got those creatures on my plate. =)
