I think it goes without saying that practically everyone dislikes going to the dentist. I never really minded much before, but for the past 2 years every dentist appointment has ended with some sort of bad news and work needing to be done on my teeth. Last year I had 2 cavities and needed a crown on my right molar (not fun and very expensive). My 2nd check-up last year went fine except that my crown was still sensitive so that was slightly unpleasant.I just had another 6 month check-up last week and of course...more bad news. At first Dr. Roberts said my mouth was "boring", good news! But then the hygienist pointed out a spot on my x-ray and sure enough, I have a cavity and needed a filling. So, I'm off to the dentist again tomorrow for a seriously unpleasant 40 minutes of drilling and filling. I try to brush 2-3 times a day and floss, but no one's perfect so I guess that's why I'm in trouble with my dentist all the time. Or maybe my teeth just hate me...
LeAnn-I hope this post doesn't bother you. I'm sure you hear people complain about their teeth and the dentist all the time...doesn't mean you have to like it though :)

It doesn't bother me at all nerd! I have to have my teeth worked on a lot too. I have a ton of fillings and two crowns. A lot of times the reason you get cavities is purely genetic. You probably have softer enamel or something. Ask your dentist if he reccommends doing at home fluoride treatments. If so you can get a tube for $10 and it can help strengthen your teeth.
