labor day

We've had a Labor Day tradition going since we started dating...boat and camp at Lake Roosevelt in Eastern WA. Tanner's family owns property on Lake Roosevelt so we've spent past years camped on their lawn, but the last 3 years or so Eric's parents have rented the cabin right next to Tanner's family's place, so we've had a real bed and another kitchen to cook in (don't get too excited because I don't do any of the cooking).

There's usually anywhere from 15-30 people spending the long weekend together. The crew consists of Tanner's whole family, Eric's parents and brother, us, high school friends and college friends and sometimes their wives/girlfriends. The lake has always been a dudes weekend + Lindsay; but it's been getting better every year because more guys are getting the courage to bring girls with them.

Here are a few pictures of our fun weekend! Top Left: Not sure if you can tell, but Eric, Tanner and Lust all have mustaches (it's a weekend requirement for all dudes). Top Right: There were 2 other boats in our group and we all tied up near a big water slide made by a radio station. Most people came back from the slide with scrapes and bruises because the slide is so high up and you hit the water really fast; I think there were a couple of broken ribs too.
