wyoming

Eric and I spent last weekend visiting my parents in Wyoming. Here's a rundown of our activities:

Wednesday: Arrived in Billings, MT at midnight and made it to Cody, WY at about 2:30am

Thursday: Took the Cody Trolley Tour at 11am. The Trolley tour is really great and if you're ever in Cody during the summer you should definitely do it. Their slogan is something like, "give us an hour and we'll give you 100 years". Tons of great Buffalo Bill and Cody, WY history. Then we spent the afternoon at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center (my Dad's museum). There are actually 5 museums there and you really need a couple days to see everything; my favorite was the Buffalo Bill Museum and Eric's favorite was the Cody Firearms Museum.

Friday: We got up early and headed into Yellowstone Nation Park. We saw "Old Faithful", a ton of other geysers and a whole bunch of buffalo. It was a fun day!

Saturday: Eric and my Dad went target shooting in the morning. Then we were all supposed to golf on Saturday afternoon, but it was really cold and windy, so just Eric and my Dad went and Mom and I went shopping and then watched a Project Runway marathon!

Sunday: Of course the weather is amazing the day we're heading home. It was really nice out and Eric was able to squeeze in 9 holes of golf right before we left. We drove back up to Billings and watched the Seahawk game; then the 4 of us flew to Seattle together (my parents were heading to Alaska for a Museum Association meeting).

The visit to WY was great and I wish we could have stayed longer, but hopefully we'll be able to make it over there again in the next 6 months or so.

*side note: my parents have a bunch of other pictures, so I'll post more pics once I get those.
