We were actually set up on a blind date for my sorority's Date Dash. I had planned to go alone but after I got off work I decided I needed a date. My roommate Kelly was going with Eric's roommate Ben, so I called Kelly and asked if she could find an AGR to go with me.
Eric's side of the story: Ben asked if he wanted go but Eric said no because he had homework to do. Ben finally convinced him and I came right over with my Date Dash shirts and a 6 pack of beer (I only had 6 because I thought I was going alone), but Eric now tells me that because I only came with 6 beers his first impression of me wasn't the best. Long
story short...we had a great time, he asked me to come over the next night for a party and we've been together ever since! (This picture is the night we met! That's Kelly and Ben with us and you can tell that Eric is still upset about the 6 beers situation, haha!)For our anniversary we decided to have dinner at home and rent a movie. Since it was a special occasion I thought I should cook something nice...so I decided to make prime rib! I'm sure you are all aware that my cooking skills are not the best and my desire to cook is practically non-existent, but I managed to find an easy recipe and everything turned out great! Eric also surprised me with Kathy Griffin tickets to her show tomorrow! I'm really excited to see her live and I'll blog all about it soon...
