This year Eric and I bought our very first REAL Christmas tree. For our first Christmas in Seattle Eric's parents gave us a small artificial tree about 2 ft tall; very cute and easy. I told Eric I really wanted a real tree this year since we'll have so much family in town for the holidays. He was very apprehensive about it an kept saying it would be a "fire hazard" and that I would always forget to water it (I tend to accidentally kill plants pretty often), but in the end he gave in and I got my real tree! I love it!
